Shaw Laminate Tile Click System Not Recommended for Tough Layout Jobs
Over the past weekend we installed the Shaw laminate tile (16" wide). The layout had seven doorways in a small area. Due to the non-friendly click system and the width of the planks this job took one and a half days longer than it should have. In the future, if the client wants laminate tile (which is a great look) then we'll recommend individual tile style of laminate tile (where each tile is it's own piece). If the layout is very easy with minimal doorways then the Shaw brand should be fine.
